Mayibuye Transport Corporation (MTC) is a provincial public entity under the Eastern Cape Department of Transport, providing passenger transport services to Eastern Cape communities on selected routes.
The Chief Corporate Support Officer will provide strategic leadership and integrated Corporate Support Services across the Corporation, supporting the Chief Executive Officer and Board in achieving MTC’s strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and oversee Human Resources, ICT, Corporate Communications and Business Development.
- Advise the CEO and Board on corporate services strategy, policy, organisational priorities and service delivery.
- Oversee organisational development, workforce planning, employee development, change management and performance management.
- Manage the Corporate Services team, including work plans, performance indicators, priorities and service quality.
- Oversee the development and implementation of ICT, Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Business Development and business continuity strategies and plans.
- Promote effective stakeholder relationships, professional customer service and a positive corporate image.
- Drive risk management, occupational health and safety, employment equity and fair workplace practices within Corporate Services.
- Oversee the preparation of statutory and non-statutory accountability reports.
Contract: Five-year performance-based contract.
Grading: Paterson Grade E-1.
Remuneration: Salary package based on total cost to company.
